Well, the Pinnacle Video Capture device thingy came in the mail today, all the way from Canada. Works great, took a bit to figure out how to plug it up though. Only problem is that Windows Movie Maker doesn't support MPEG-4 file type, so now I have to find a good editing program to edit shit with. If anyone knows where to get a decent FREE editing software, or is super generous and wants to donate one, I'd be very, very happy.
